Srinagar, March 15 (KNO) : Today at about 1400 Hours, a minor avalanche hits Shitkari area of Sonamarg, Ganderbal. An employee of APCO Construction company.pvt Ltd namely Dharam Prakash Singh son of Narender Bahadur resident of Premgadh Danigunj Uttar Pradesh (A/P Electrician of APCO Tunnel construction) got trapped.
As soon Ganderbal police received the information, a special team was constituted comprising of police parties from Police Station Sonamarg, Police Station Gund and Police Post Gagangeer immediately to rescue the trapped person. The team rescued and evacuated him to safety.(KNO)
